more of our time together...

cameron is enjoying more and more activities. here are some photos that did not make it into previous blog posts...

yes, another egg hunt!!!

while most children are enjoying the "scheduled" activities
such as egg tossing, jupiter jumping, face painting...

our child takes off running...

to the maintenance cart and
was mesmerized by the batteries and duct tape
he found in the storage compartment

but he did become interested when a helicopter landed
(this is the 2nd, yes 2nd, egg hunt this year where the
Easter bunny arrived via helicopter.
does anyone else think this is strange and
ridiculous?)

as mentioned on another post...
most of our photos of c look like this!

he did take time to stack golf balls.
truly, he would take off 3-5 balls and re-stack them exactly as he found them!
we were amazed.

daddy has told cameron not to cross this line.
he listened and obeyed!!!

a little "hokey pokey" on the driving range

finally, an open cart to "drive!"

cameron loves to visit home depot more than parks. he never tires of driving "tractors" or looking for fork lifts. he also enjoys checking out the display of batteries and specifically likes the double and triple a batteries. as cameron would say "what's that about?"

our child does NOT want to leave yet!

this is a separate visit.
(we do not always plan for him to wear orange at home depot!)

he searched and searched and finally found his fork lift!!!

he will inspect wheels for many minutes.

he's letting me know he'd rather take his nap at home depot than at home.
(yes, i think this is disgusting to lay down on the ground at
home depot but our guy truly loves this place!)

"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14

Easter!!!

today we had the privilege of spending Easter together as a family. we celebrated Easter at church and when we returned home we had a small backyard egg hunt for cameron...what a beautiful day.

our family
(so hard to get a photo of all 3 of us together...
cameron is usually on the move)

finding a piece of candy

cameron found a tractor in an egg!

another egg!
(at each of the previous 3 egg hunts cameron only found 2 eggs)

tractors beat out candy any day!

most of our photos of cameron look like this these days!

"He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to Him all are alive." Luke 20:38 (NIV)

He is risen!

He is risen, indeed!!!

saturday morning at the zoo

today our zoo had an egg hunt plus (and this is the part cameron loved) free train rides for the whole two hour event! the weather was much cooler and as we were leaving it started to rain. when we returned home cameron was soon ready for nap time as he used up a lot of energy running around this morning.

e.b. turned 18 months old today. in celebration cameron was wearing his big brother t-shirt he wore last year when we surprised our families with the news of our daughter. it's amazing to see how much he's grown during the wait and to know e.b. is growing too.

hurry...

the train is coming!!!

"all aboard!"

actually checking out some animals at the zoo...

and the playground too...
driving a "semi"

our engineer

heading home...

more outside time

another beautiful day...

water play...

"And so now we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:16-19 (NIV)
