It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's been a while since our last post, but it's been a very busy month or so for all of us. Cameron survived his first haircut in the States (more on that below), as well as his second road trip to St. Louis - once again, he did great! After returning home, we have been busily gearing up for our first Christmas together. We will have to save the Christmas prep photos for another post, but here are some shots from the past 4 weeks.

First, the haircut, which was a little traumatic at times...
Next, Thanksgiving in St. Louis. First, Cameron learned that dad isn't the only one with a cool phone - Aunt Buff's was pretty neat too!

Then he got a little piano lesson from his Poppy and performed for Mikey, Aunt Buff and Uncle Mark.

After returning home to Tulsa, the weather turned colder, but our little guy still wanted to get out and explore. His favorite thing in the world is to check out cars, and more specifically their wheels and bumpers. Each walk involves an inspection of each and every car parked in the street...or a neighbor's driveway.

Cameron's latest fun trick has been displaying his "scary face" on command. He's quite the ham and really likes the laughs he gets from his faces. Here he is demonstrating scary before a Husker game (also sporting the jersey of his favorite Husker, Rex Burkhead)...

We continue to be amazed at his progress and at how well he is adapting to his new life. Cameron understands a great deal of English, and has even started speaking a few words! In addition to "boom," "mama," and "dada," he can tell you what sheep, doggies, bees and snakes say! He's awesome.

We hope to update again very soon with some Christmas preparation shots. In the meantime, we hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful season of joyful celebration!

"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
